Flier and sign up sheets for Christmas event will be posted Thursday (if not already) and asking for people to sign up with what they are bringing (VERY IMPORTANT) so we have good turn out and lots of food.
The annual Xmas Eve meeting will be held at 11:00 PM, December 24. Arch A. will chair and Mark Z. will lead. If you don’t happen to be hanging your stockings with care, drop in for a very lively meeting.
Also Pot Luck for New Year Luck after New Year’s Eve meeting – black eyed peas, cabbage and whatever is considered for luck, or just something to eat – desserts – we ask for folks to bring food to this one too to serve after our meeting is over.
Everyone’s participation in these will be well received!
Other meetings of note…
Friday Night 8:00 is the “We’ve Just Begun” meeting. This is a great meeting if you are new to sobriety, and really looking for others to connect with. Besides finding others that are new, you will find others with long term sobriety that come especially to be of some kind of service to newcomers. If you are looking for a sponsor, this is also a good meeting to find one in.
Tuesday Night 8:00PM is Scottish Jack’s Big Book Study with Scott at the helm. It’s always a great weeknite meeting, and for those of you who haven’t opened your Big Book lately…here’s your chance.
A Women’s Meeting is also Monday at 12 in the small meeting room.
Doug d’B Speaker Meeting Sunday at 11:00:
Clark G. is going to tell his story this Sunday. He has 7+ years under his belt and his home group is Our Common Journey. I can say personally that his story will be quite entertaining, but also very inspiring.
Doug d’B also does the Thursday 8:00 Big Book Meeting which has always been a big draw.
Friday and Sunday meetings start at 12:15 and end at 1:15.
If you’re new to the mailing list, definitely head back to the our main website and check the meeting schedule for other meetings listed.
