THANK YOU! We now return you to our regularly scheduled program of AA!

Keep those updates comin’ folks!
….(speaking of updates, if there are new chairs, leaders, or sobriety birthday announcements, please let us know at .

Intergroup Phones are coming up!
Yes, it’s true! We actually know ahead of time

May 10th through 13th
So, set some time aside, find the sign-up sheet, and commit to a time. I think it is in
2 or 4 hour increments (I’ll know more soon about that) throughout the day.

The Bellaire Club Anniversary is coming up in April!

32nd Annual Celebration on the 27th of April 2013.
Time: 1:30 (after the noon meeting lets out)
Annual Chili-Cook-Off (So chili-cookers get out you award winning recipes!!)

**Mary F. and the rest of the Board of the Bellaire Club have floated the notion that getting some of our
founding and long-time members to send in some memories
of some of the great moments from the past, or even some of our more somber moments of
struggle, and how the club got through the hard times as well as the good times. Personally, I view our travels and adventures
through Sobriety as a mythological Hero’s/Heroine’s Journey. Yes, there were losses, ..but definitely some wins!
Even just 2 or 3 paragraphs…if we wind up with our own Homeric Odyssey, we may have to make a booklet or somethin’ 😉

Join the Bellaire Club” – $20.00 per month or $200 for the year.

Meeting Announcements

Russell C. chairs the Sunday Noon Meeting (12:15) for April. Peggy S. will be leading, always a thoughtful one.

Al M. chairs the Sunday 11:00 Speaker Meeting.

The Women’s Hope & Healing meeting for April, Mondays at 12:00 noon in the small meeting room, will be chaired by Kathleen D.

At the same time there is the Monday Men’s Meeting at noon in the big meeting room.

Tuesday Noon: there is a Meeting and is really needing some support.

Tuesday Night 8:00PM is Scottish Jack’s Big Book Study with Scott T. at the helm. It’s always a great weeknight meeting, and for those of you who haven’t opened your
Big Book lately…here’s your chance.

Wednesday 6:30am “Red-eye Special” meeting. It’s a small but happy meeting that really needs the support of a few more early risers. Thanks!

Also, Alice G will be chairing the Wednesday nooner‘ meeting for the month of April and Kathleen D. will be leading for the month as well.
Come on over and participate!

Looks like Joe J. will be chairing the Ask-it Basket Wednesday 8:00PM meeting with Ed B leading.

Robert P. chairs/leads the Thursday noon meeting, always a great meeting, so make it to this one!

Thursday evening Women’s ER 6:30 meeting

The Doug D’B Meeting on Thursday 8:00 is always a great mid-week meeting to catch.

Mary H. is chairing the Friday Two Dollar Meeting (12:15) for the month of April. This Friday, Ann N. will be leading the charge into the weekend.

Jeff . will be chairing the Friday night 8:00 “We’ve Just Begun” meeting with a different leader each week. This is a great meeting if you are new to sobriety, and really looking for others to connect with.
Besides finding others that are new, you will find others with long term sobriety that come especially to be of some kind of service to newcomers.

Saturday Night, Donald S. chairs 6:30 Speaker Meeting.

It helps to be redundant with this one: Friday and Sunday “noon” meetings start at 12:15 and end at 1:15.

If you’re new to the mailing list, definitely head back to the our main website and check the meeting schedule for other meetings listed.
Also, let us know if you have something special going on in your home group, or you wish to announce any changes within a certain meeting.
Send it to
Just get it in no later than Wednesday night by around 10:00pm.

THOUGHT for the DAY: (Sent in by Russell C., quoted by the late, great past Governor of Texas, Ann Richards…):

“Our sobriety and survival depend on a non-judgmental relationship that allows us to trust and allows us to change.”
Powerful stuff!
Ann Richards died at age 73 (too young) and had 26 years of sobriety.
So far, that’s about it for now. More to come!
