The next meeting of the "Drunk Poets Society" will be held Saturday, Feb. 13th. at 8:30 pm

In honor of Valentines Day, the theme for the night will be
"Love, and Other Disasters."

Join us for and evening of original poems, old favorites, and some you never knew you would enjoy.

Are you a club member?

All it takes is 30 days sobriety and $15 a month (or $150 for an entire year). Put your check or cash in an envelope (and how you want to be listed in our internal records). The coffee bar attendant will put it in the safe.

Need to find a way to live without alcohol?
Looking for an AA meeting in Houston?
Don't want to drink but do want to have some sober fun?

Located just west of the 610 loop in Houston TX, the "World Famous" Bellaire Club has provided a home for Alcoholics Anonymous meetings since 1981.

At the Bellaire Club you will find people who share their experience, strength, and hope with each other for the purpose of recovery from alcoholism and helping others to recover. The club hosts AA meetings every day and the members and friends of the club celebrate with gatherings and events throughout the year.

You can show off at the talent shows, share your profound verse at the "Drunk Poets Society" events, or just grab a meeting and find a friend to have coffee with afterwards.

As the Big Book says: "We are not a glum lot. We insist on enjoying life."
